We verify your bank account to:
- Confirm your identity and match your information with a valid Canadian personal bank account in your name
- Ensure the account can receive your loan funds and support automatic repayments

How Does Fig Verify Your Bank Account?
As part of the application process, Fig uses a secure third-party service called Flinks to verify your bank account. This verification is temporary, read-only, and encrypted. It allows us to confirm your account ownership and assess eligibility based on a variety of factors without storing your login credentials.
Note: Only Canadian personal bank accounts held in the same name as the Fig loan applicant can be used. Joint accounts are accepted if your name appears on the account. Business or third-party accounts are not eligible.
