Link Your Bank Account With Flinks

Whether completing your application or changing your payment for an existing loan, Fig partners with Flinks, an industry leader in bank linking to connect your bank account. We want to enable our applicant's and borrower's to complete an application or make a change to their loan as smoothly and easily as possible.


Application

When linking your bank account, Fig collects data which help us set up your loan after our standard review process. As part of that data collection, we require applicants link their bank account, this allows Fig to:

  • Collect banking details to deposit your loan
  • Collect banking details to withdraw repayment
  • Support your identity verification


To ensure we can complete these steps we request that you link your primary bank account. To verify your primary bank account, the account must be a personal account, registered to your name and should be the bank account which receives your regular payroll deposits. If you have linked a bank account which meets these requirements but you are still having trouble, contact us for further support.


Account

If you've changed financial institutions, you may want to update the account your payments are taken from. You can easily update your linked bank account used for repayment. For directions on how to make this change see: How do I change my payments?


Your bank account must be a personal account, registered to your name, your new account does not require the same payroll details as it does during your application. However, we still recommend using your primary bank account for repayment. If your account meets these requirements but you are still having trouble, contact us for further support.


FAQ

My financial institution is not listed

  • If you are completing your application for the first time, please contact us, we will reach out to Flinks and can request that they add your institution to their list of supported institutions.
  • If you've already booked your loan, we may be able to manually add your account.

I don't have online banking

  • We are only able to support applications which are completed with our standard automated application, this includes linking your bank account.

How do I know my information is safe?

  • Flinks is an industry leader in bank account linking, they are trusted by many organizations to provide this service and are owned by National Bank. You can learn more about Flinks and their data security efforts here.

There is an issue with connecting my bank account

  • Flinks has a public status page which is helpful to confirm your financial institution is operational with Flinks at the time of your attempt.
    • If no issues are being reported, attempt logging into your online banking portal separately to test that you're able to login.
