If you’re having trouble moving through your Fig application and received the message "Sorry, we need your permission to continue," it likely means your browser’s local storage permissions are disabled.
Fig uses local storage in your browser to temporarily store secure data needed to help you complete your loan application. This functionality is commonly used across web applications to improve your experience and maintain application progress between steps.
Why Is Local Storage Needed?
Local storage enables Fig to:
- Save your progress as you move between steps in the application
- Maintain a secure session
- Prevent you from needing to re-enter information
Without it, certain parts of the application may not work correctly.
How to Enable Local Storage in Google Chrome
Follow these steps to enable the necessary permissions:
- Open your web browser.
- Click the three vertical dots in the top-right corner of the browser window.
- Select Settings from the menu.
- Click Privacy and security in the left-hand menu.
- Choose Third-party cookies.
- Select Allow third-party cookies.
Local storage access is often tied to cookie settings. Enabling third-party cookies will allow Fig to store data needed during your session.
Once enabled, refresh your application window to continue where you left off.
