What Happens if I Miss a Payment?

Modified on Thu, 19 Jun at 2:35 PM

If a payment is returned as failed, you will receive an email notification, and Fig will reach out via SMS and phone to assist you in resolving the outstanding payment.

Impact of a missed payment

If a payment is returned as failed, your loan account will enter bad standing. Should the missed payment remain unpaid after 3 days, a $45 Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF) fee will be added to your next scheduled payment.

If the payment remains unpaid for 30 days or more, Fig will report this missed payment to the TransUnion credit bureau, which may affect your credit score and your ability to borrow in the future.

Interest will continue to accrue daily on your outstanding loan balance, including any missed payments and fees.
